OK, maybe I'm not so loyal

Well, I planned on being loyal to writing on this blog as often as possible, but with all the running around and with Christmas and New Year celebrations and running to cover people's stories about how wonderful they are and everything they're doing for everyone else - it kind of got put on the back burner. That's the funny thing about community news - so many people want to be portrayed in a way that makes them look important. Sometimes it's hard to get to the really good stories because you're so busy with covering the silly crap. Everyday is fun, though, and something really crazy happens just about every day. Just the other day we had a guy come into the office bitching about us changing a word in his letter to the editor that really wasn't a word. "Well, people would know what I mean," he said. It's sometimes a challenge to deal with that kind of mentality. It sure is funny, though.
